Our stay was fantastic. The location was perfect for a relaxing vacation with a much appreciated pool! We enjoyed the area with access to multiple beach locations within 5-10 minutes. We had an amazing time at Casa en el Cielo! The house was great for our group (4 adults, 3 kids) with plenty of space for everyone. The house was clean and well stocked with linens, cooking/cleaning essentials, pool floats, etc. The pool and patio area are absolutely amazing!! The sunsets and views are spectacular!! The owners were fantastic to work with!! Very prompt with all correspondences and super helpful with all of our questions. The property management company was also great to work with...very kind and helpful with questions and suggestions. The owners and the property managers were really working to ensure we had a great stay! We felt very comfortable in this home and in Costa Rica! I would certainly recommend it!!

Jaime's home is absolutely awesome! I stayed here for a week with my wife, two young children and in-laws. The home is located in a gated subdivision and feels very secure and safe with a 24hr. gate guard and is well equipped with anything you need to make your stay comfortable. The host Jaime as well as Zindis the property management company was eager to assist us, answer any questions and take care of any issues we had during our stay. Also, take advantage of the host's property information book on the coffee table, he gives you a ton of local information and recommendations from restaurants to tours, etc. IMHO, the patio and pool alone are worth the stay and the location between Playas del Coco and Playa Hermosa make getting to two great beaches only a few minutes drive in either direction very easy. We really enjoyed the pool and the view from the patio in the mornings watching the sun come up while drinking our coffee. There is great access to a large variety of local restaurants and the beaches are clean, not overly crowded and great for kids with minor surf. Playa Hermosa Beach became our favorite during our stay, BTW. Other highlights include being close to many local attractions and activities and only a 20 minute drive from the Liberia Airport. I highly recommend renting a car as it'll make getting around the area and to and from some of the more remote beaches and activities very easy. We're 100% satisfied with our stay. This property is awesome and made our vacation very enjoyable, we will most certainly be back again in the future.

Fuimos una familia de 7 personas de diferentes edades toda una semana y quedamos encantados. Los niños la pasaron muy bien disfrutando en la piscina y los adultos en la barbacoa. La casa es muy cómoda, está muy limpia y tiene un excelente wi fi. La terraza está muy bien distribuida y se puede disfrutar de las vistas a lo lejos, de la barbacoa, de la piscina o de sentarse a leer un buen libro. El residencial es muy tranquilo y seguro. Milena de la administración nos dio una excelente atención y siempre estuvo pendiente de que todo estuviese ok. Un lugar muy recomendable para pasar las vacaciones

Casa el En Cielo is a beautiful and spacious home that offered everything we needed and wanted. We LOVED the infinity pool and spent a lot of time there since it was always clean, warm and offered such a great view. Jamie was easy to communicate with and the staff he has managing his home were also easy to get ahold of when we needed anything. Be sure to read through the binder Jamie made up (we found it under some magazines on the coffee table) as he thoughtfully (and in an organized manner) outlines everything from how to use the household appliances to how to get to his favourite local spots to eat. We will definitely be coming back to this home that felt like our home as soon as we entered. Thanks Jamie!

Great Costa Rica VRBO! Safe, Gated Community between COCO and Playa Hermosa!   ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

Beautiful infinity pool, SAFE gated community, breathtaking sunset views! The property management company was wonderful to work with. I left my wedding ring at the property and they went to secure it so we could pick up after our Arenal Volcano voyage. I would DEFINITELY book this one again!

We stayed here for 5 nights during Thanksgiving week. It was plenty of room for my family of 5 and we were very comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and anything you would need to cook a full meal or entertain. Playa Hermosa is a quick 5 minute drive (we never walked) and other surrounding beaches are just a little further making the home a great central spot to do day trips around Guanacaste region. Playa Hermosa is perfect.....warm waters, beautiful sand, not crowded, restaurants right on the sand and plenty of trees to find shade. You cant beat the sunset overlooking the infinity pool.

What an amazing stay we had-- Jamie and the property management group Zindis were both fantastic. Loved the house, the view by the pool was incredible and so relaxing. The table outside was great to have breakfast and enjoy being outside in the morning. Very mellow area, felt safe (gated community with someone working the gate). Just a few minute drives to the beach and great restaurants and a little grocery store. The place was clean, lots of linens, lots of space to hang out. The living room is cozy, although an upgrade of the couches and chairs could help make it easier for more people to hang out. The folks at Zindis were super helpful -- they helped us plan / coordinate things, gave us local tips, came in and checked in on us. I got bit by a scorpion during the end of the trip (no swelling, was totally fine-- apparently this is common in CR and the local scorpions are all not dangerous )-- but someone from Zindis actually came by to check in on me and see how I was doing. Just overall, amazing hospitality -- and it felt very genuine too, which was the best part. It didn't feel like fake smiles because this is "their job" -- it felt warm and kind and authentic. The kitchen was a great place to hang out and cook too, had everything you need. Honestly - had a great stay and would go back in a heartbeat!

We picked an Amazing home for our first time in Costa Rica!   ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

This was a family of 5 adults on a first time visit to Costa Rica and we were not disappointed in our choice of staying at Casa en El Cielo. We stayed mid March 2018 for 16 fantastic nights and really would have loved to stay much longer! Prior to arriving any questions we had the owner Jamie was very prompt and thorough with his answers. He looked after lining up our rental vehicle which was great and much appreciated. I would highly recommend renting a vehicle as it really allows you to explore the region and is a great convenience to go at your own pace and do what ever you want to do. Driving in Guanacaste region we found was fairly easy and by the end of our stay were very comfortable with getting around in the area. We put on a lot of miles and thoroughly loved the area. We had nothing but sunshine the entire time. The information package was excellent and was very helpful and we had no problem at all upon our arrival. The Zindis Group property management staff member met us at their office and then took us onto the home which is just a short drive. They were very welcoming as well as full of information which was most helpful. Showed us all around the home and all the ins and outs which was again very helpful. They also checked up and came by the house a week later just to make sure all was well and if we had any questions or concerns so we felt very looked after. On our arrival the home was spotlessly clean and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting. The home is beautifully decorated and the artwork is amazing. Kitchen is outfitted with everything a person can think of and everything was in top shape working order. The beds were most comfortable and we all had great sleeps. The pool was lots of fun and a blessing as it was around 38C daily. The patio furniture was excellent and very comfortable and we spent many hours looking out over the countryside. As this is their dry time of the season a lot of the trees are dormant and lost their leaves and the hills are very dry. I would love to see the area in the rainy season as everything would be amazing green. We loved watching daily the numerous birds and of course the local iguana who is around all the time! We made good use of the BBQ which was great to have. There is a Luperon grocery store close by in Playa Hermosa which is a little more expensive so we went to Auto Mercado in Playas del Coco and also to WalMart in Liberia. Fantastic home and relaxing.

The house is exactly as presented on the website. Very clean, accessible, comfortable and inviting. This was perfect for us, 2 couples traveling together for our first visit to Costa Rica. The management company was stellar in giving us an orientation and introducing us to Tico Tours. This is on our list to stay again when we come back. "Our cup we left was from Crabby Washington!" That was a fun way to leave a part of us for future guests to enjoy. ENJOY

Casa en el Cielo was amazing, it exceed our expectations in terms of the great location and how relaxing it is. The pool and the views were our favorite parts. The views are both from the pool and from the upstairs master bedroom. We were a group of 6, 4 adults and 2 kids and the house was perfectly sized for us. The area is amazing and all the suggestions on things to do and places to eat were perfect, we didn't have to venture far and had plenty to do and relax for 5 days. Will certainly look to return and hopefully stay at Casa en el Cielo next time in Guanacaste.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa en el Cielo. It was a great house. The owner had put together a very helpful instruction book that made everything easy. The location was great; easy to get to Playa Hermosa and Playa del Cocos was a short drive. The house was very well equipped from the kitchen to beach items (toys, chairs and towels). We are a family of 4; each kid had their own room and bathroom, which was awesome. It was so easy to relax. The pool was great and the kids spent a lot of time playing in the pool. It was a carefree stay. We did get to see Larry the Iguana several times, but only saw the monkey once. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We highly recommend it. I must say the owner, Jamie, was very responsive prior to our stay. The management company was close by. Great place!

Our family had the best vacation for sure! I would go back to the same house without hesitation. The house is built with great amenities and flow. I can get over the patio area and views "just amazing". House is well equipped, clean, comfortable beds, wifi works perfect and air conditioning works great. In addition we were close to Playa del Coco, Playa Hermosa, groceries and key needs in a matter of minutes. Any questions we had were answered quick, efficiently and always with great customer service. Thank you!

We stayed here for a week for a family reunion (6 adults, 1 child) and loved every bit of it. The house is beautiful; we spent most of our time in the kitchen or the pool area. The views are great and the home has everything you need to enjoy a good vacation! You def need a car to get around; we spent days on quite a few beaches including Hermosa, Ocotal, Panama, Coco (all close by) and Tamarindo and Flamingo (1 hour drive). The airport is only 25 mins away. 

There are a couple of grocery stores within 10 mins so easy to stock up. And all the beaches have great bars and restaurants. But you do need a 4x4 vehicle as the roads are quite windy and steep. 

During our stay, the pool was cleaned twice and maid also came midweek to clean up the house; did a spectacular job! And lastly, Jamie the owner is a great guy to work with! He was always available; via phone or email and even called vrbo to discuss our options for the security deposit vs damage insurance. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to enjoy the coast - its a beautiful home, well decorated and a family of 8-10 can really enjoy it. Get a car and explore all the beaches guanacaste has to offer.

This property was just as advertised with wonderful views in two different directions! The house had everything that we needed and if there was anything that we needed the property manager was there to help. The location was also great being just a very short drive to great beaches and restaurants. It's a very quiet location, at least when we were there so it's great for a family vacation. We love Costa Rica and would recommend this property to anyone who wants a relaxing, quiet getaway. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your home!

TRULY AMAZING! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

We stayed here for a quick get away to celebrate New Year's 2017 with a total of 10 of us squeezing into the house. The kitchen is gorgeous - we cooked pretty much every meal. The pool is incredible - I think we all woke up and swam as soon as we woke up. One thing I guess I wished I had realized was a better sense of the location - the beach is definitely not walkable. It's at least 2 miles away and the hill to/from the house is very steep (tried walking to dinner once and had a nasty fall). Also, make sure you get a decent rental car because we had a little Nissan and even flooring it we were crawling up the hill. Overall the stay was great. The concierge at Tico Tours was great - we could arrange transportation for day trips and beach days so we could get a little boozy and not worry about the car. Again - truly amazing vacation!!!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica... won't be our last! Jamie's house is lovely, in an exceptional neighbourhood with outstanding views, especially the upstairs master! Location is great! Safe and short drive to many beaches. The view from the house is breath taking whether you are in the balcony or poolside. The privacy and view from the pool is something which pictures and words cannot describe. Rooms are roomy and comfortable as are the bathrooms. Our family was sad to leave to our next destination as this house really felt like home. Very well kept. Steve was the onsite manager. He is amazing and very polite. Offered us a map and directions as to how to get around in the area as well as options for activities and dining. Jamie is amazing, great host! Looking forward to our return.

P.S. if you did not have your own car, local transportation would be able to get you to and from the home. Although you can work out a good deal once you land. If renting a car just make sure to negotiate a good rate best done in person and take pictures and or video upon pick up, will save you much hassle and money upon return.

We loved the house and the location! It is a beautiful home, fully equipped in a great gated community. The outdoor living area and infinity pool are incredible. We grilled and cooked many meals at the house and everything worked perfectly. The master bedroom is fantastic- it is large, has its own TV, and more importantly its own large covered deck area with different views than from the pool area. The location was great because it is so close to Playa Hermosa and only a little bit further from Playa Coco. Hermosa feels slower, with great snorkeling a few minute boat ride off the beach, and some nice restaurants. Coco is much livelier with some great restaurants and more local shopping. Try Citron for dinner, you will be glad you did.

Jamie, the owner, was so helpful with information, ease of booking, ideas on what to do and where to go, and anything else you can think of.

The house is locally managed by Zindis Group. The property manager that we worked with throughout our stay was Edgar. He was really great to work with, so helpful, fast to respond to any needs and exhibits a total service attitude.

I highly recommend Casa Cielo!

"Clean, 100% as described, well equipped kitchen, kids loved the pool which is all private with a great view. The beach is close by car, only 4-5 minutes. We didn't go to the beach in Playa Hermosa until the 3rd day of our trip which was a mistake because its nice and quiet. Plus, we discovered the "Aquasport Bar & Restaurant" where we parked and had drinks all day long. They have beach chairs available for their customers. The drinks where REALLY good, but not with too much alcohol and the food was ok. The location is perfect if you have a rental car."

"This was the perfect location, with beautiful views, close to Liberia Airport, and a 5 minute drive to the beach. The owner answered all my questions before our trip and the rental company was so helpful throughout our stay, even when we arrived on a Sunday. The house had everything we could possibly need for our trip. We spent every evening just listening to the monkeys, swimming, and enjoying the views. We also enjoyed our morning walks. "This was our first trip to Costa Rica and the house made our trip wonderful! It was lass than 5 minutes to Playa Hermosa beach which is a beautiful family oriented beach. We went there almost everyday. The views from the back patio and master patio were amazing. We woke up every morning and drank fabulous Costa Rican coffee by the pool. The infinity pool was wonderful...85-92 degree water! Our daughter lived in the pool! The town of Playa Hermosa was great. Everyone was friendly and very willing to help us with the little Spanish we spoke. The Luperon store in town was great for quick needs and the big Auto Mercado in Playa Del Coco was only 10 minutes away. Jamie has a well equipped home with everything we needed. My husband is a Chef and he absolutely loved the kitchen. The master bedroom and bathroom was enormous! And the two bedrooms down stairs had plenty of room and each with their on bathroom. This was the perfect house for our vaca and will be the perfect house of anyone's Costa Rican Vacation! We cannot wait for our next trip and hopefully we will be able to rent Jamie's home again! Pura Vida!"

"The house was wonderful and so cozy it felt like home. Also felt very safe within the gated community. Was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed especially the master bedroom with the amazing view and so huge could live in! The outside pool area is unbelievable with amazing view and constant sun but also a large area of shade with wonderfully comfortable furnishing. Also loved the large outside dining table with lazy susan and the easy access window from the kitchen to just pass snacks through!! Playa Hermosa is wonderful, the people were friendly and helpful and the beach was uncrowded and clean! Cannot say enough good things and would definitely return!!"
